🔬 NCERT Science Lab
Class 6–8 experiments you play
Heart Pulse Monitor
Class 6–8 · Biology & Electronics
Explore how an optical sensor detects a pulse, and compare rest with activity in a simulation.
Power the sensor, place the virtual finger and wait for a steady signal. Record rest and activity, then watch recovery.
Glow the Bulb
Class 6
Make a closed path so the bulb glows.
Drag Battery → Switch → Bulb into the loop. Press Power On. Then test which objects let current pass.
One Path or Two?
Class 6–7
See what happens when one lamp is removed.
Build the loop with two bulbs. Pick Series or Parallel. Predict first, then Power On and remove one bulb.
Make a Magnet
Class 7
Current in a coil turns a nail into a magnet.
Drag Battery → Switch → Coil. Choose 5, 10 or 20 turns. Power On and count clips. Power Off: clips fall.
Fuse Saves the Bulb
Class 7
Too much current melts the thin fuse wire.
Drag Battery → Switch → Fuse → Bulb. Try 1 cell, then 4 cells. Watch the fuse.
Mirror Bounce
Class 7–8
Light bounces with angle i = angle r.
Drag Torch, Mirror and Screen. Turn the torch on. Rotate the mirror until the ray hits the target.
Ring the Bell
Class 7
An electromagnet pulls the hammer again and again — ding ding!
Drag Battery → Switch → Bell. Press Power On and hear it ring. Press Power Off to stop.
Lemon Power!
Class 8
Lemons with two metals make electricity to light an LED.
Drag Lemon → Zinc nail → LED. Pick 1, 2 or 3 lemons and Power On. How many light the LED?
Spin the Fan
Class 6–7
More cells make the motor spin faster.
Drag Battery → Switch → Motor fan. Power On, then try 1, 2 and 4 cells. Feel the wind!
Make a Rainbow
Class 7–8
A prism splits white light into 7 colours.
Drag Torch → Prism → Screen. Turn the torch on and tap every colour on the screen.
Lift with a Lever
Class 6–7
A lever lifts heavy things with a small push.
Place Plank → Fulcrum → Stone. Move the fulcrum near, middle or far, then Push. Find where the stone lifts easily.
Float or Sink?
Class 6–8
Light-for-size things float, heavy-for-size things sink.
Place Tub → Water → Hand. Pick an object, Drop in, and see. Test 4 objects.
Balloon Rocket
Class 8
Air rushes back, the rocket zooms forward — like ISRO rockets!
Place String → Straw → Balloon. Pump 1, 2 or 3 times, then Launch. Reach the flag!
Newton Rocket & Aerodynamics
Class 6–8 · Physics & Engineering
Launch a virtual water rocket; compare pressure, nose shape, altitude and air resistance.
Compare pointed and flat noses at the same pressure. Watch thrust, altitude and speed.
Shadow Clock (Sundial)
Class 6
The Sun's shadow tells the time — ancient Indian science!
Place Board → Stick → Sun. Turn the Sun on, then try Morning, Noon and Evening. Watch the shadow move.
Bat Radar
Class 6–8 · Robotics
Sound bounces back like a bat's echo — closer object, faster beeps!
Place Battery → Arduino → Sensor → Buzzer. Move the ball Far, Middle, Near and Scan each time.
